Job summary

Vivie in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents in a healthcare dining program. You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain food safety standards, and ensure meals meet dietary needs and preferences.

This hourly, non-exempt role offers competitive pay of $19-$25 per hour, with benefits including retirement matching, health coverage, PTO, and opportunities for scholarships and professional development.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or restaurants preferred.
• Food safety knowledge preferred; ServSafe certification a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to pass state mandated background check.
• Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively to ensure communication with residents, staff, and visitors.

Pay Range: $19-$25/hour (hourly non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.
