Job summary

Vivie in Lakeville, MN seeks a Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents in a clean, safe dining setting. You will ensure quality, nutrition, and attention to dietary needs while maintaining a welcoming mealtime experience.

Responsibilities include following food safety guidelines, managing inventory, and collaborating with the Culinary Services team to deliver consistent, high-standard meals in a fast-paced environment. Previous healthcare or hospitality cooking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or restaurants preferred.
• Food safety knowledge preferred; ServSafe certification a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to pass state mandated background check.
• Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively to ensure communication with residents, staff, and visitors.

Job description

Schedule: Full Time | 80 hours per pay period | 10:15am-6:45pm

Pay: $19-$24 (non-exempt), based on location, qualifications and experience.
