Live Well Healthcare Solutions in Exton, PA is seeking a talented Cook with experience in high-volume nursing facility operations to join our dietary team.

You will prepare meals to standardized recipes, plate dishes, support the Dietary Manager in their absence, maintain sanitation, manage inventory, and accommodate special events. PTO and insurance benefits are provided; must be available to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation and culinary excellence following standardized recipes.
• Plating and presentation of all cooked items.
• Liaise with the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain high sanitation standards by cleaning the kitchen and equipment.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and assist with purchasing and recipe development.
• Handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented, classically trained Cook experienced in high-volume culinary operations to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.

• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.

• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.

• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.

• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.

• Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
