Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook to join the Adventist Health Castle kitchen in Kailua, Hawaii. You will accurately prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold foods for all meal periods and events, following Sodexo culinary standards.

In a fast-paced kitchen, you’ll ensure safety, maintain sanitation, and support strong teamwork. Requirements include a high school diploma and 0–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for all meal periods and events.
• Follow Sodexo culinary standards for quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Ensure food products are prepared safely and maintain a clean workstation.
• Support kitchen teamwork and uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
• Duties may vary by account and client requirements.
