Job summary

Sodexo in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Cook to join our team on a full-time, Weekdays – morning shifts. You will be responsible for accurately preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold dishes for all meals and events, following Sodexo’s culinary standards and safety guidelines.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, up to 2 years of related experience, and strong ability to read and follow recipes while maintaining a clean, organized workstation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure high-quality food service.
• Follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, and serving foods.
• Taste products, estimate quantities, check production, and plan production requirements.
