Job summary

Seminole Gaming is seeking a cook to provide superior service to guests and prepare menu items across grilling, frying, broiling, and pantry stations. The role requires attentiveness to customer specifications and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain cleanliness, assist team members, and adapt to varying shifts, while handling kitchen equipment and recipes for daily menus. Compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic food preparation knowledge and line work experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Typically acquired through a minimum of one-year prior experience as a Cook Trainee or coffee shop line cook, and/or through the completion of a degree in culinary arts or recognized apprenticeship

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and maintain positive interactions with customers and coworkers.
• Prepare foods for grilling, frying, broiling, or pantry, ensuring plates are visually appealing and cooked to customer specifications.
• Recognize sauces and apply them properly to daily entree selections.
• Keep work station neat and clean and assist coworkers to ensure efficient kitchen operation.
• Operate in a kitchen with heat and noisy environments and handle hazards like wet floors and sharp tools.
• Review recipes and documentation to determine proper cooking methods and portioning.
