Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is seeking a hands-on cook to prepare a range of menu items across multiple cooking styles in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will help ensure dishes meet recipe specifications and presentation standards while maintaining a clean, organized workstation.

The role requires the ability to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends, and to assist during special events. Experience with international cuisines and proper food handling is preferred.

Qualifications

• This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• A culinary apprenticeship, an Associate’s Degree from a culinary institution or an equivalent with some industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares foods listed on menus using grilling, frying, broiling, baking, boiling, braising or poaching.
• Ensures plates are aesthetically appealing and cooked to customer and chef specifications.
• Maintains clean and organized workstation and assists teammates as needed.
• Supports special events or parties and helps with setup, cooking, carving, and teardown as required.
