Qualifications

• Partial High School education required.
• High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Culinary knowledge and food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, daily menus, and supervisor instructions.
• Clean and inspect kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas for cleanliness and safe operation.
• Operate food station, including station checklist, temperature log, and signage.
• Requisition food supplies and equipment based on estimated needs.
• Monitor menus and spending to ensure economical meal preparation.
• Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them to management.
