Guest Services Inc. is seeking a Cook to assist the Chef or General Manager by preparing, cooking, and serving food in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role requires following recipes and menus, maintaining cleanliness, operating stations, and ensuring food safety through proper sanitation and temperature controls, while delivering strong customer service. Qualifications include partial high school education or a high school diploma, culinary knowledge, and food safety certification;

Qualifications

• Partial High School education required; High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Culinary knowledge.
• Food Safety certified and strong sanitation habits.
• Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
• Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items per recipes and menus.
• Clean and inspect kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Operate food station and complete related checklists and logs.
• Requisition food supplies and equipment as needed.
• Monitor menus and spending to ensure economical meals.
• Report safety issues to the manager.
