Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas in Greater Palm Springs is seeking a Cook 2 to join our culinary team, preparing and presenting meals in line with recipes and health guidelines.

As an intermediate-level cook, you’ll ensure ingredients are fresh, follow safety procedures, and assist wait staff during service. This full-time role offers hourly pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth within Hyatt.

Qualifikationen

• Riverside County Food Handler's license.
• Knowledge of safety procedures, including safe temperatures and proper cooking methods to prevent foodborne illness.
• Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating on complex dishes.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with wait-staff, management and customers.
• Calm demeanor to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Accountability for dishes and meeting management expectations.
• Follow direct orders and recipes with accuracy.
• Manual dexterity and knife techniques for chopping and dicing.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work shifts with high heat.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, including varied AM/PM shifts.

• Prepare, cook, and plate dishes according to recipes and standards.
