Job summary

Ivy Gables Senior Living in Wilmington, DE is seeking a full-time Cook to join our compassionate kitchen team. You will cook and plate meals, assist with simple recipes, and batch cook to ensure top quality and consistency. Shifts run 7am–7pm, 40 hours per week, with every other weekend and holidays.

Wage is $18.00 per hour. A pre-employment background check is required; Serv Safe certification is not required but is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1-3 years line cook experience preferred.
• Serv Safe certification is not required but is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cook and plate meals; assists in simple recipes for hot and cold food preparation. Batch cook items ensuring optimal food quality.
• Store food and monitor food supply.
• Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance.
