Job summary

Powder Mountain is hiring a Cook for its Food & Beverage team. You will be responsible for preparing meals, sauces, and produce in a fast-paced lodge kitchen at 9,000 ft, with early starts and possible late evenings.

You must maintain clean and safe work practices, stock prep lists, and support chefs to continually improve operations in a mountain resort environment.

Qualifications

  • Utah Food Handlers Permit required.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knife safety and proper kitchen etiquette.
  • Reliable transportation to mountain location.
  • Uniform provided; maintain professional appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food, sauces, and produce for meals.
  • Complete assigned tasks and update stock/prep lists.
  • Keep kitchen clean, organized, and well stocked.
  • Wash dishes and maintain sanitation standards.
  • Work with Mountain Chef and Cook 3 to improve operations.
  • Adhere to early starts and potential late evenings.

As a Cook at Powder Mountain, you are the heart of our Food & Beverage operation, responsible for fueling our guests for a long day on the slopes. Operating out of our mountain lodges, you will work in a fast-paced, high-volume culinary environment.
