Job summary

Brian Head Resort is seeking a Line Cook for the Winter 2026/2027 season to prepare and cook items to order, keep a clean and stocked workstation, and adhere to safety standards. The role requires teamwork in a fast-paced environment and availability nights and weekends.

You will collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff, operate equipment safely, and contribute to delicious, timely meals for guests enjoying the mountain experience. A food handler’s card is preferred.

Qualifications

• Has or can obtain a current food handler’s card.
• Understand basic kitchen safety, sanitation, and food prep standards.
• Can work nights, weekends, holidays, and during peak business hours.
• Works well under pressure and enjoys being part of a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with accuracy and speed based on resort recipes and portion guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked workstation throughout service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards, including temperature control and handling procedures.
• Safely operate kitchen equipment and regularly clean workstations and tools.
• Collaborate with other cooks, kitchen staff, and front-of-house team to ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Other duties as assigned.
