Job summary

Asbury Communities is seeking a PRN position in food preparation located in Erie County, Erie. Responsibilities include assisting in cooking, following production counts, and ensuring food quality. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma and one year of related experience.

Pay & Compensation

• PRN Position
• Hours: Sunday- 6:00am-2:30pm Monday 1030am-7:00pm and as needed
• Pay: $17.00/hour
• This position may be eligible for a shift differential depending upon schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assists in simple recipes for hot and cold food preparation. Batch cooks items ensuring optimal food quality; i.e., scrambled eggs, french-fries, vegetables, fish, etc.
• Follows “counts” designated on production sheets, as written.
• Informs Chef when a recipe or food production sheet needs to be modified and informs Chef of potential shortages.
• Instructs attendants in regards to menu offerings and/or menu changes.
• Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• One (1) year of related experience.
