Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown in Columbus, GA is seeking a Cook to join our hospital dining team. You will prepare meals for the cafeteria, patients, and catered events, following recipes and assembling large volumes with attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Culinary School preferred.
• A student currently enrolled in an accredited Culinary School preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks in the preparation of meals, interprets recipes, cooks and assembles large volumes of food for the cafeteria, patient, and catering meals.
• Ensures foods are prepared safely and in compliance with health and sanitation standards.
• Works collaboratively with kitchen and dining staff to support timely meal service and quality.
