Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is seeking a cook to prepare meals for the cafeteria, patients, and catering. You will interpret recipes, cook, and assemble large volumes of food with accuracy and speed.

Schedule is 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with Fridays off. Education options include GED or HS diploma preferred, and culinary school preferred; 1 year cooking experience or enrollment in culinary school is acceptable.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Culinary School Preferred.
• A student currently enrolled in an accredited Culinary School Preferred.
• 1 year experience as a cook. May substitute for years of experience if graduated or currently enrolled in an accredited Culinary School Required or May substitute for years of experience if graduated or currently enrolled in an accredited Culinary School Required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks in the preparation of meals, interprets recipes, cooks and assembles large volumes of food for the cafeteria, patient, and catering meals.

Education
