Job summary

Performance Team is seeking an experienced Technical Maintenance Mechanic to join our fast-paced warehouse and distribution maintenance team. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and material handling equipment, with a focus on reliability and safe operations.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, experience with conveyors, and the ability to diagnose complex equipment failures.

Qualifications

4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in warehouse/distribution/manufacturing environment.
Extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Experience with CMMS documentation and spare parts management.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic controls-related issues on material handling equipment.
Maintain and repair conveyor systems, sortation equipment, gearboxes, motors, VFDs, sensors, bearings, chains, belts, rollers, actuators, cylinders, and other components.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals; escalate PLC/controls issues as needed.
Perform preventive maintenance and reliability improvements; document in CMMS; identify opportunities to improve equipment uptime.
