Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas is seeking an on-site Convention Services Manager (C/CSM) to manage assigned conventions from turnover to event execution. You will coordinate group contracts for guest rooms, meeting space, F&B and concessions, ensuring all agreements are fulfilled while maintaining strong client relationships across hotel departments.

Qualifications

• Two years of college with emphasis on business or communications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing or Communications preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience at a supervisory level in guest contact areas of the hospitality industry.
• Math and analytical skills to solve financial and space utilization calculations.
• Proficiency in computer systems: Microsoft Office, Delphi FDC, LMS or other hotel operating systems, Internet and Meeting Matrix.
• Knowledge of hotel product, staffing, operations, safety, security, and codes.
• Ability to read, write and speak English to understand guest requests and memos.
• Ability to learn and perform essential functions with minimal supervision during training.
• Any education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Non-gaming Certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships from account turnover through event execution.
• Drive high customer satisfaction by maintaining guest and employee relations as liaison between guest and departments.
• Upsell contracted food and beverage minimums and promote vendors to drive revenue (AV, entertainment, décor).
• Build relationships with client bases to encourage re-booking of events.
• Create and distribute BEOs, group resumes, fire marshal diagrams and event details within established timelines.
• Promote the meeting diamond program and encourage department participation in event success.
• Review contracts to understand room blocks, cut-off dates, concessions and attrition clauses.
• Participate in planning, department, BEO, resume and pre/post conference meetings.
• Identify and resolve service or product issues affecting customers or hotel.
• Maintain detailed files in Delphi to track correspondence and forecasting data.
