Job summary

Horseshoe Las Vegas is seeking a Hotel Conventions Sales/CSM to manage group contracts, oversee guest room blocks, meeting space, F&B and concessions, and maintain strong client relationships. You will coordinate with banquet and hotel operations to ensure events run smoothly and exceed client expectations.

The role requires hospitality industry experience, ability to read contracts, proficiency with Delphi-based systems, and a proactive approach to problem solving in a fast-paced Las Vegas

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of college level courses with an emphasis on business or communications required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing or Communications preferred.
• Experience in supervisory roles in guest contact areas of the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency with hotel operating systems and related software.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships from account turnover through execution of events. Drive high customer satisfaction by maintaining positive guest and employee relations acting as a liaison between the guest and support departments.
• Maintain and Increase guest satisfaction scores by ensuring prompt, courteous and proper service.
• Generate incremental revenue through upselling of contracted food and beverage minimums and by promoting our preferred vendors (audio-visual, entertainment, décor).
• Establish and maintain relationships with client bases to encourage re-booking of events.
• Create and distribute within established time frame, correspondence and paperwork (BEOs, group resumes, fire marshal diagrams).
• Promote the meeting diamond program and coordination across departments for event success.
• Review sales contracts and understand group requirements (room block, cut-off date, concessions, attrition, space).
• Participate in planning meetings and pre/post conference meetings.
• Identify and resolve potential service or product issues affecting customers.
• Maintain detailed files in Delphi and ensure proper forecasting documentation.
