Job summary

Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore is seeking a Sales & Catering professional to generate and book high-volume business functions and to support the Sales & Catering team with administrative tasks and client communications.

You will coordinate with hotel departments to ensure flawless events, manage client profiles, and assist in preparing contracts, proposals, and addendums. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills and a customer-first approach.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Team coordination and liaison with hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Generate and book a high volume of business functions (All Markets assigned by DOS).
• Solicit sales through assigned accounts, potential new accounts and participation in community organizations.
• Maintain the highest quality of meeting and banquet service.
• Support the Sales & Catering team administratively including correspondence, preparing reports, file turnovers and assisting with reservations.
• Direct requests from internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain guest profiles, contacts and records for Sales & Catering operations.
• Assist with contracts, proposals and addendums; track completion and keep files updated.
• Act as liaison between Sales & Operations to meet or exceed client expectations.
• Assist in handling reservations for VIP guests and clients.
• Ensure arrangements, upgrades and amenities are properly handled.
• Coordinate with other departments via verbal and written instructions.
• Communicate with all hotel departments to ensure timely attention to requests.
• Complete additional projects as assigned.
• Prepare Banquet Event Orders and distribute to departments.
• Assist in creating Group Resumes for staff meetings and communications to departments.
• Spearhead coordination of internal sales events.
