Job summary

Marvin is seeking a CEPG Controls Team Supervisor to lead the Controls team while performing controls work in a manufacturing setting. You will mentor technicians and coordinate project timelines, collaborating with SCADA, PLC, and IT specialists to integrate advanced automated equipment.

The role requires strong controls knowledge, a collaborative leadership approach, and the ability to manage projects while empowering team members to own their work.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree, one to two years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Project management skills and the ability to execute work according to established timelines.
• Strong, proactive communication, training, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the Controls group while continuing to execute controls work, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate Controls Technicians to complete projects on time.
• Research, analyze, install, and test automation control systems to improve machine efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming issues and implement preventive maintenance ideas.
• Manage projects and timelines, maintain feedback loops, and provide end-user training.
• Serve as liaison with vendors to ensure equipment and wiring meet Marvin specifications.
