Job summary

Marvin is seeking a CEPG Controls Team Supervisor to guide the Controls group while continuing hands‑on work on automation and equipment. You will mentor technicians, lead projects, and coordinate with SCADA, PLC, and IT specialists to deliver advanced manufacturing solutions.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, troubleshooting, and the ability to drive projects to on‑time completion, fostering a collaborative environment and ownership among team members.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of manufacturing software including ICIM and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with PLC and operator interface programming languages.
• Familiarity with networking technologies and hardware.
• Knowledge of SCADA and automation control systems.
• Knowledge of data communication protocols and industrial protocols; Windows and Unix/Linux.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the Controls group while continuing to execute controls work, coordinating with various teams.
• Lead, mentor, interview candidates, train employees, plan work, and balance workloads.
• Research, install, and test automation control systems to improve efficiency and production demands.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming issues; improve procedures.
• Manage projects and timelines; provide end‑user training and maintain feedback loops.
• Liaise with vendors to align equipment and electrical practices with Marvin specs; build cross‑functional partnerships.
