Job summary

Marvin is seeking a CEPG Controls Team Supervisor to lead a team of Controls Technicians while continuing to perform controls work. You will mentor staff, coordinate projects, and partner with SCADA, database, and PLC specialists to integrate advanced automation in manufacturing.

The role emphasizes leadership, troubleshooting, and timely delivery of projects with a focus on collaboration across Engineering, Maintenance, Information Systems, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Requires a four‑year degree with 1–2 years related experience or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and project execution within timelines
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and proactive communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and balance workloads
• Familiarity with PLC/SCADA systems and automation controls

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the Controls group while continuing to execute controls work.
• Collaborate with Automation Systems, Maintenance, Information Systems, and Operations.
• Lead interviewing, training, planning work, and delegating tasks.
• Analyze, test, and implement automation control systems to improve efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming issues.
• Manage projects and timelines, ensuring end-user training and feedback loops.
• Liaise with vendors to align equipment and wiring with Marvin specs.
