Job summary

Marvin is seeking a CEPG Controls Team Supervisor to guide the Controls group while continuing hands-on controls work. You’ll mentor technicians and coordinate projects, partnering with SCADA, PLC, and database specialists to integrate automated equipment.

You’ll lead efforts to improve machine efficiency, resolve electrical/mechanical issues, and manage timelines with a collaborative leadership approach. Relocation benefits may be available.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing/controls field.
• Experience leading or supervising a technical team in manufacturing.
• Strong project management and mentoring skills.
• Experience with PLC programming and automation systems.
• Familiarity with SCADA, data acquisition, and networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the Controls team and continue to execute controls work.
• Mentor technicians, plan work, balance workloads, and delegate assignments.
• Research, install, test automation control systems to improve efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming issues.
• Manage projects and timelines; provide end-user training.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure equipment aligns with Marvin specs.
