Job summary

Marvin is seeking a CEPG Controls Team Supervisor in Fargo, ND to lead and mentor the Controls Technicians while continuing to perform controls work on advanced manufacturing equipment. You will guide the team, coordinate projects, and ensure on‑time delivery with a focus on safety and quality.

You will collaborate with SCADA, PLC, databases, and automation specialists to integrate systems, diagnose issues, and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of ICIM and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with PLC and operator interface programming languages.
• Familiarity with standard networking technologies and hardware.
• Knowledge of SCADA, automation control systems, and related components.
• Knowledge of data communication protocols and operating systems such as Windows and Unix/Linux.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the Controls group while continuing to execute controls work, collaborating with Automation Systems, Maintenance, Information Systems, and Operations.
• Support team leadership activities, including interviewing candidates, training employees, planning work, balancing workloads, delegating assignments, evaluating work, addressing concerns, and resolving problems.
• Research, analyze, install, and test automation control systems to improve machine efficiency and production demands.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming-related issues; recommend preventive maintenance and process improvements.
• Manage projects and timelines through completion with feedback loops and end-user training.
