Job summary

Marvin is hiring a Custom Equipment Programming Group (CEPG) Controls Team Supervisor to guide the Controls team while continuing to perform controls work. You’ll lead, mentor, and coordinate the work of Controls Technicians, partnering with SCADA and PLC specialists to deliver automated manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree required or equivalent
• One to two years of related experience or training
• Project management skills and ability to meet timelines
• Strong, proactive communication, training, and mentoring skills
• Ability to create a collaborative team environment and empower others

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the Controls group while continuing to execute controls work.
• Collaborate with Automation Systems, Maintenance, Information Systems, and Operations.
• Lead interviewing, training, workload planning, and performance evaluations.
• Research, install, and test automation control systems to improve efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming issues.
