Job summary

Marvin is hiring a Custom Equipment Programming Group (CEPG) Controls Team Supervisor in Fargo, ND to guide the Controls Technicians while continuing to perform controls work. You’ll lead, mentor, and coordinate the team to complete projects on time and to Marvin standards, partnering with SCADA, database, and PLC specialists to integrate sophisticated automated equipment.

The role requires hands-on controls experience, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to manage projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years experience in controls or manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, project management, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to guide a team while performing controls work.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the Controls group while executing controls work.
• Lead recruiting and training, plan workloads, delegate tasks.
• Research and test automation control systems to improve efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment and wiring issues; propose PM rules.
• Manage projects and timelines with end-user training.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure Marvin specs and procedures.
