Job summary

Marvin in Fargo, ND is seeking a CEPG Controls Team Supervisor who will lead, mentor, and coordinate the Controls Technicians while continuing to perform controls work. You’ll partner with SCADA, PLC, and database specialists to integrate advanced automated manufacturing equipment.

You’ll bring strong controls experience, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to manage projects with teams across functions, ensuring on-time delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or higher required; 1–2 years related manufacturing experience acceptable.
• Experience leading a Controls team in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong collaboration, mentoring, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the Controls group while continuing to execute controls work.
• Support team leadership activities, including interviewing candidates and training employees.
• Research, analyze, install, and test automation control systems to improve machine efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming issues; recommend preventive maintenance.
• Manage projects and timelines, ensuring on-time completion and training.
• Serve as liaison with vendors to align equipment with Marvin specs; foster cross-department collaboration.
