Job summary

Marvin is seeking a CEPG Controls Team Supervisor to guide the Controls group while continuing to perform controls work in a Fargo, ND area facility. You will mentor Technicians, coordinate projects, and collaborate with SCADA, PLC, and IT specialists to integrate automated equipment.

You’ll drive ongoing improvements, ensure on-time project delivery, and empower team members to own their work. Relocation benefits may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent with 1–2 years related experience or training
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Project management skills and ability to execute to timelines
• Strong, proactive communication, training and mentoring skills
• Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and empower others

Responsibilities

• Provide direction for the Controls group while continuing to execute controls work; collaborate with Automation Systems, Maintenance, Information Systems, and Operations
• Support team leadership activities: interviewing candidates, training, planning work, balancing workloads, delegating, evaluating, and resolving problems
• Research, analyze, install, and test automation control systems to improve machine efficiency and production demands
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming-related issues; recommend preventive maintenance and procedural improvements
• Manage projects and timelines through completion; maintain feedback loops and end-user training
• Serve as liaison with vendors to ensure equipment and wiring practices align with Marvin specifications; build cross-functional relationships
