Job summary

Modigent seeks a Controls Manager to lead Building Automation and Controls operations across construction and service. You will set the strategy for the automation team, oversee project execution, service delivery, programming, and system performance.

This role partners with Sales, Preconstruction, Operations, and customers to grow the controls business while delivering high-performing building automation solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in building automation, controls, or energy management, with mixed service, start-up, and programming experience.
• Leadership experience required, with ability to mentor technicians and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale automation division across construction and service teams.
• Develop strategic vision, growth initiatives, and workforce development.
• Interface with project teams for successful delivery and change management.
• Oversee BAS/BMS service operations including maintenance and system optimization.
• Provide technical leadership for building automation platforms and integrations.
