Job summary

You will oversee field crews, perform advanced diagnostics, and ensure optimal performance of building automation systems. A strong safety record and leadership are essential in this high-responsibility position.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in building automation/controls installation, startup, retrofit and service.
• Masters-level knowledge of DDC/BAS platforms and operations.
• Valid driver's license and clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex service, retrofit, and commissioning projects in building automation.
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and optimization of controls systems.
• Plan full startups, testing, and commissioning with minimal supervision.
• Direct controls technician crews on major jobs with safety focus.
• Collaborate with project leadership to develop retrofit plans and resource needs.
• Provide site surveys, write reports, and recommend proactive solutions.
• Ensure compliance with EPA regs, codes, manufacturer specs, and Modigent standards.
• Mentor junior technicians and support professional growth.
• Document work orders, reports, and as-builts for billing and warranty.
