Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Controls Manager to lead Building Automation and Controls operations across construction and service, setting the strategy for the automation team, overseeing project execution, service delivery, programming, and system performance.

This role partners with Sales, Preconstruction, Operations, and customers to grow the controls business while delivering reliable, high-performing building automation solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in building automation, with service, startup, and programming.
• Leadership experience required.
• Relevant BAS/BMS certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead ACES automation across construction and service teams.
• Develop strategic vision for the automation division and growth initiatives.
• Oversee project schedules, execution, and service delivery.
• Provide technical leadership for BAS/BMS platforms.
• Improve uptime, response times, and customer satisfaction.
