Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Controls Manager to lead the ACES automation division across construction and service. You will set the strategy for the automation team, oversee project execution, service delivery, programming, and system performance, and serve as the SME for BAS/BMS platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in building automation, controls, or energy management, including service, construction start-up, and programming.
• Prior people-leadership experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead ACES automation division across construction and service teams.
• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the ACES automation division, including growth initiatives and operational excellence.
• Act as the primary internal leader for execution teams on projects and coordinate with internal/external teams.
• Oversee BAS/BMS service operations including maintenance, retrofits, and system optimization.
• Provide technical leadership for building automation platforms (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Alerton, Trane).
• Support proposals, estimates, and technical presentations for construction and service work.
