Job summary
The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer for our southwest Atlanta metro manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot, program, and integrate electrical and automation systems to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime in a high‑volume environment.
Role involves PLC/HMI programming, electrical troubleshooting, and collaboration across maintenance, engineering, and production teams. Prior ABB/FANUC robot familiarity is a plus; relocation assistance is available.
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree; equivalent experience may qualify.
- Prefer 5 years as a controls engineer; 2+ years considered with relevant background.
- Experience in Allen‑Bradley PLC environment and machine controls.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and program equipment and automation systems across departments.
- Lead or support control-system design, FAT, commissioning, and testing.
- Modify machine programs to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors on projects.
- Prepare technical reports and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
