Job summary
SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer for a southwest suburban Atlanta manufacturing facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting, programming, and integrating equipment and automation systems in an Allen Bradley PLC environment, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and uptime.
You'll collaborate across departments on projects from initiation to completion, perform electrical and control-system troubleshooting, and lead improvements in stamping, die casting, plating, and assembly
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but may consider 2+ years.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical and control systems on production equipment (24V to 480V).
- Lead/prep project plans, equipment specs, PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, and root-cause analyses.
- Develop and maintain technical reports, FATs, and process optimizations.
- Support safety compliance per OHSA and internal EHS standards.
