Job summary
SourcePro Search, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer for our manufacturing facility in the southwest Atlanta metro area. The role focuses on troubleshooting, programming, and integrating equipment and automation systems in an Allen-Bradley PLC environment.
You will lead and support manufacturing projects, improve safety, efficiency and uptime of equipment, and collaborate across departments to deliver solutions. Relocation assistance and a strong benefits package are available.
Qualifications
- Four years of technical education or degree, or two years of technical education with related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prefer at least 5 years as a controls engineer, but will consider at least 2 years as a controls engineer.
Responsibilities
- Maintain effective working relationships across departments to support manufacturing operations.
- Electrical troubleshooting on production equipment from 24V to 480V circuits.
- Provide controls engineering expertise for projects, including design, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Lead projects by coordinating activities, timelines, and requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports and documentation for controls activities and FATs.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and internal EHS standards.
