Job summary

Ashton North LLC in the southwest Atlanta metropolitan area is seeking a Controls Engineer to troubleshoot, program, and integrate equipment and automation systems. You will work across departments to support manufacturing operations and lead projects to improve safety, efficiency, and uptime.

In an Allen Bradley PLC environment, you will design modifications, read schematics, and mentor teams while upholding OHSA and internal safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires 4+ years in controls engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and modify control programs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical/control systems on manufacturing equipment.
• Program and modify PLC/HMI logic to improve safety and efficiency.
• Lead projects from initiation through completion with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare technical reports and FAT documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
