Job summary

Emerson in Cranberry Township, PA (Greater Pittsburgh) is seeking an early‑career engineer for the Power Retrofit Projects team. You will work on engineering design, testing, and commissioning of control systems (Ovation DCS) for power plants nationwide.

You will learn through mentorship, collaborate with experienced engineers, and grow skills across multiple engineering disciplines while supporting customer success on critical infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of related engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% within North America.
• US work authorization with no sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Join Power Retrofit Projects to support engineering design and execution with mentorship.
• Collaborate on cross‑functional teams across the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to control system design, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Identify improvements and help deliver reliable solutions to customers.
