Job summary

Emerson is seeking an engineering professional early in their career to join the Power Retrofit Projects group in Cranberry Township, PA. You will work on automated control system solutions for power plants using Ovation DCS and participate in the full project lifecycle including design, testing, and commissioning.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and leaders, gaining hands-on experience across engineering disciplines and exposure to North America-wide projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of related engineering experience.
• Ability to travel up to 20% within North America.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a collaborative, inclusive team focused on solving complex engineering challenges.
• Contribute to application design and engineering execution on active projects with guidance and mentorship.
• Participate in cross functional and global teams supporting process improvement initiatives.
• Build and develop technical capabilities through hands on project work and exposure to multiple engineering disciplines.
• Support the application design and execution for thermal and conventional power projects.
• Help ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project execution cycle.
• Identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement and business growth.
• Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and architect/engineering firms to help identify practical technical solutions.
