Job summary

Reworld, based in the United States, seeks a Control Room Operator to start up and shut down the plant per approved procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental commitments while maintaining efficient operations.

You will guide crane and plant operators, monitor systems, read blueprints and P&IDs, manage alarms and emergencies, and uphold Reworld's safety standards. A high school diploma and ASME QRO licensing within a year are required; 12-hour rotating shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam within the first year of holding the position
• Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation
• Effectively monitor Reworld operations systems and have strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations
• Experienced in reading blueprints, P&ID's, and schematic specifications
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks for completion at times during emergency, providing clear directions in operational, safety and environmental tasks
• Respond to operational alarms, taking immediate corrective action
• Demonstrate solid understanding of operational best practices, including the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that supports Reworld's safety and operational goals
