Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Control Room Operator to execute plant start-up and shutdown procedures, ensuring operations meet environmental and safety commitments. The role supports crane, auxiliary, and back plant operations while maintaining safe, efficient performance.

The position requires a high school diploma, ASME QRO provisional licensing within a year, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts. Competitive benefits and pay are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam within the first year of holding the position.
• Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
• Effectively monitor Reworld operations systems and have strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations.
• Reading blueprints, P&ID’s, and schematic specifications.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks for completion at times during emergency, providing clear directions in operational, safety and environmental tasks.
• Respond to operational alarms, taking immediate corrective action.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of operational best practices, including the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that supports Reworld’s safety and operational goals.
