Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a Control Room Operator to execute approved start-up and shutdown procedures, ensuring the facility meets its environmental and safety commitments while operating safely and efficiently.

You will guide Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators, monitor boiler and turbine operations, and interpret blueprints and P&IDs to manage emergencies with clear, decisive action.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam required within the first year of holding the position.
• Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
• Effectively monitor operations systems and have strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations.
• Experienced in reading blueprints, P&ID’s, and schematic specifications.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks for completion during emergencies, providing clear directions in operational, safety and environmental tasks.
• Respond to operational alarms, taking immediate corrective action.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of operational best practices, including the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that support safety and operational goals.
