Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking a Control Room Operator to lead and direct operation of our power facility. You will monitor all plant systems, respond to alarms, and execute shutdown/start-up procedures to meet generating requirements safely and efficiently.

The role requires training other Operators, maintaining logs, and guiding crane and back-plant operations. It involves in-field work during outages, 12-hour rotating shifts, and a strong emphasis on safety and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam required within the first year of holding the position.
• All Control Room Operators must have strong leadership and motivational skills, and the ability to stay alert while sitting for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate how actions support Reworld values and safe, inclusive workplace.
• Train other Operators on operating principles of the power facility’s systems, components and steam cycles.
• Maintain required logs and calculations; observe for faulty operation and notify supervisor of abnormal conditions.
• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators for safe, efficient operation.
• Monitor plant systems and have strong knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations.
• Read blueprints, P&ID’s, and schematic specifications.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks during emergencies, providing clear directions.
• Respond to operational alarms with immediate corrective action.
• Be in the field during outages.
