Job summary

Reworld is seeking a skilled Control Room Operator to oversee the plant under the shift Supervisor's direction. You will monitor all plant systems continuously, respond to alarms, and execute start-up and shut-down procedures to meet generating requirements safely.

Role requires field presence during outages, strong leadership, and the ability to interpret logs, blueprints, and P&IDs to maintain optimal performance and safety standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam within first year of holding the position.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills; ability to stay alert while sitting for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate how actions support company values and safety.
• Train other Operators on operating principles of power facility systems.
• Maintain required logs and calculations; notify supervisor of abnormal conditions.
• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators for safe operation.
• Monitor boiler, turbine and auxiliary equipment operations.
• Read blueprints, P&ID's, and schematics.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks during emergencies.
• Respond to operational alarms with immediate corrective action.
• Field presence during outages.
• Apply sound decisions aligning with safety and operational goals.
