Job summary

Reworld is hiring an Assistant Control Room Operator to work under a Shift Supervisor and Control Room Operator. You will operate and inspect turbine generators, boilers, and related systems, ensuring safe, efficient performance and adherence to procedures.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, ability to read technical documents, and strong communication. Training opportunities and a rotating 12-hour shift are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined and able to inspect equipment to ensure optimal operations.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, procedures, and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other employees.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect turbine generator, boilers and associated systems as assigned.
• Record data and report equipment malfunctions or trends indicating trouble.
• Take appropriate action to prevent damage or injury during emergencies or abnormal conditions.
• Log onto a computer and complete online assigned training.
