Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is hiring an Auxiliary Operator to work with our facility control room to operate and inspect power plant systems safely and efficiently within our industrial disposal process.

You will monitor boilers, air pollution control systems, and auxiliary equipment, read meters and gauges, perform sampling and chemistry testing, and operate heavy equipment like cranes and forklifts. A rotating 12-hour shift is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years' experience operating boiler and heavy industrial equipment.
• Experience with chemistry testing is a plus.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems in accordance with safety operating procedures.
• Monitor and inspect boiler plant auxiliary equipment including pumps and fans.
• Read and interpret data from meters, gauges and measuring tools.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment.
• Perform sampling, chemistry testing and water treatment as required.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment (cranes, skid steers, forklifts).
• Maintain correct refuse-fuel levels and mix in designated pits.
