Job summary

Reworld is hiring a Control Room Operator to execute start-up/shutdown procedures and ensure the facility meets safety and environmental commitments. You will guide crane and plant operators and monitor boiler and turbine systems to maintain safe operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam must be completed within the first year.
• Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
• Effectively monitor operations systems and have strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations.
• Experienced in reading blueprints, P&ID’s, and schematic specifications.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks for completion at times during emergency, providing clear directions in operational, safety and environmental tasks.
• Respond to operational alarms, taking immediate corrective action.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of operational best practices, including the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that support safety and operational goals.
