Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking a Control Room Operator to execute approved start-up and shutdown procedures, ensuring the facility meets operational, environmental, and safety commitments.

You will monitor boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment, read blueprints and P&IDs, and guide Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators while prioritizing tasks during emergencies. A High School Diploma and ASME QRO provisional licensing within the first year are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ASME QRO Provisional Licensing exam within first year of holding the position.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
• Effectively monitor Reworld operations systems and have strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations.
• Experienced in reading blueprints, P&ID’s, and schematic specifications.
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks for completion at times during emergency, providing clear directions in operational, safety and environmental tasks.
• Respond to operational alarms, taking immediate corrective action.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of operational best practices, including the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that supports safety and operational goals.
