Job summary
American Global is seeking a Contractual Risk Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Texas. You will analyze contractual risk across major construction and infrastructure contracts, including design-build and P3 structures, and support client negotiations to allocate risk and secure appropriate insurance terms.

Qualifications
- JD or equivalent legal qualification required.
- Proven legal experience in construction, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
- Deep knowledge of contract analysis, negotiation, indemnification, and risk allocation.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts.
Responsibilities
- Analyze major construction and infrastructure agreements focusing on risk allocation and insurance terms.
- Support contract negotiations and advise on key exposures.
- Develop risk management and insurance strategies with cross-functional teams.
- Evaluate insurance coverages, exclusions, and uncertainties with clients.
- Bridge contractors, legal teams, and insurers to mitigate exposure.
- Review project documents including joint ventures and design/subcontract agreements.
