American Global is seeking a Contractual Risk Manager to join our Infrastructure team. The role focuses on analyzing contractual risk in major construction and infrastructure projects and advising on risk allocation, indemnities, and insurance terms.

You will review design-build, P3, joint venture, and other project contracts, collaborate with legal, insurance, and surety professionals, and help develop practical strategies for managing and transferring risk across diverse sectors such as heavy

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or energy law.
• Ability to identify complex contractual exposures and translate concepts into practical risk management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze major construction and infrastructure agreements focusing on risk allocation and indemnification.
• Support contract negotiations with practical guidance on risk allocation and insurance terms.
• Evaluate project insurance requirements and develop risk management strategies.
• Review joint venture, design, and subcontractor agreements for indemnities and liability allocation.
• Collaborate with legal, insurance, and surety professionals to mitigate exposures.
• Contribute to client strategy, business development, and thought leadership in construction risk.
